The infamous #longhairdontcare hashtag . . .  gotta love it! I sometimes laugh at certain people that use this only because their hair is definitely not something to be bragging about. One of my biggest pet peeves are girls that have stringy, fried and damaged hair because I literally treat my hair like a baby. I can honestly say that my hair is extremely healthy. I get it colored every 8 – 10 weeks as well and it still holds up strong. So what do I do to have healthy locks?! Above, I have posted a picture of the every day products I use and will go into detail about them below, as well as, give some every day tips:

  • Organix Anti-Breakage Keratin Oil Shampoo & Conditioner – I just recently discovered this line of shampoo & conditioner and absolutely love it. They have probably 10 different kinds all with different oils used from around the world and the BEST part is that their focus is on nourishing the hair. Oh and it smells DELICIOUS and is afforable!! It leaves my hair feeling so smooth and truly rejuvenated after every wash.
  • It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Spray – Many of you have probably heard of this brand and I am here to attest that it is AMAZING! This bottle alone has lasted me almost 8 months. The It’s a 10 line is focused on doing these 10 things to your hair: 1) Repair dry, damaged hair  2) Adds shine  3) Detangles  4) Thermal styling protection  5) Seals & protects hair color  6) Prevents split ends  7) Stops hair breakage  8) Creates silkiness  9) Adds natural body and 10) Flat-ironing spray & thermal protection. It’s really a no-brainer ladies! I have thin hair and this detangles it so so well and little bit goes a long way!
  • Organix KuKui Oil – This, I actually got as a free sample and fell in love. This product is used to smooth frizzy hair, make it shiny and also add nutrients for throughout the day. It’s absolutely awesome and doesn’t leave my hair feeling oily or greasy. I especially recommend this for after you straighten your hair or if you have wild curly hair.
  • Biotin – Biotin is a vitamin that you can buy at almost any drug store. (I personally use Target brand cause it’s super cheap) I have been taking this for about 3 years now and can tell the world of a difference. This vitamin is specifically for the growth and strengthening of hair, nails, and skin. My skin is so clear now and my nails grow like weeds! You take this one a day and over time you will see the difference. This is especially good for people trying to grow their hair out!

Overall, these are the products that I personally like and all of them are affordable. I buy all of these products, except the Biotin, at ULTA or even on Amazon. The It’s a 10 is better priced on Amazon for sure and coupons are always at ULTA. The only other words of wisdom I have is to always have a picture of hair motivation. This sounds cheesy, but if you are growing your locks out, it will help with the urges to chop it all off. Also, wash your hair every other day and use dry shampoo in between. Washing your hair too much can lead to serious damage and dryness. Lastly, ALWAYS use protectant on your hair when using any thermal styling tools.

I hope you all found these products and tips helpful. Oh and don’t forget your #longhairdontcare hashtag 😉
